MapMyWayFree is presented as a browser extension that provides users with information about “MAPS and DIRECTIONS”. In fact, it’s yet another browser hijacker that takes over browser’s homepage, default search engine and new tab page without user agreement. This is done to get users to visit specific sites thus boosting traffic to these ones.
