Remove Tidy Network adware manually

  1. You should reboot your computer into Safe Mode with Command Prompt. In order to do it you can reboot the PC, then, when the system will begin to load, you should press F8 repeatedly. You will see the black screen with the menu, where you should select Safe Mode with Command Prompt, using the arrow keys, then press Enter.
  2. After that you should remove the following files and folders:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\\sidorganic.tidy
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\\tidy2ie.dll
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\\tidy2networkorganic.exe
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\\tidy2update.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\Tasks\TidyNetwork Update.job
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\gb5e8gtn.default\extensions\tidynetwork@tidynetwork
    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\

    You can find the files and folders, just by navigating them, opening the enumerated folders in the directory. Or you can also use the search option in Start menu, typing the name of the file in the line. You should highlight the file you are going to remove and remove it with the help of two buttons: Shift+Delete, pressing them simultaneously.
  3. Then you should type regedit in the line of Command Prompt, then press Enter. You should create the backup copy of the registry, right-clicking Computer and selecting Export, then save the file in the any directory you like and only then you can remove the registry entries, enumerated here:
