What is Losers?
Losers is a new ransomware infection related to notorious Nemesis and Cry36. Ransomware encrypts personal files with AES-256 encryption algorithm. During this, it renames affected files by adding .losers or .damoclis extension at the end, for example, myfamily.jpg is changed to myfamily.jpg.losers or myfamily.jpg.damoclis. Then, it leaves ransom note (HOWTODECRYPTFILES.html) that contains instruction on how to restore files.
