You can use the following instructions in order to remove BrowserSeek hijacker:
- You should reboot your computer into Safe Mode with Command Prompt. For that you should reboot the PC and when it will begin to load, you should press F8 several times till the moment when you will see the black screen with the menu. You should use the arrow keys in order to have the opportunity to select the needed line in the menu and press Enter.
- After that you should remove the following registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\random
For that you should open Registry Editor, so type regedit in the line of Command Prompt, then press Enter. After that you should do the backup copy of the registry. In order to do it you should right-click Computer, then select Export and save the file in the directory you like and remember where you saved it just in case. After that you should find the registry key that you need to remove and get rid of it.
